Who we are

What we collect

• When you contact us: your name, email address and message, whether you email us or use the contact form.
• When you ask for a quote or buy from us: your name, phone number, shipping details, your dealer's information and what you're buying.
• When you use Find Your FFL or request a direct price on our site: the item and dealer you choose, plus the name, email, phone, state, date of birth and order number you enter. Dealer searches, item lookups and these details are handled by Google, which hosts our lookup tools and the records we keep for your order.
• Records the law requires: federal law requires licensed dealers to keep records of every firearm we receive and transfer.
• When you visit the site: Netlify, our website host, processes basic technical data, like your IP address and browser type, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Messages sent through the contact form are delivered to us by Netlify, which screens them for spam.

How we use it

To answer your questions, prepare quotes, process and ship orders, keep the records the law requires, and keep the site safe from spam and fraud.

Who we share it with

Only as needed to complete your order or follow the law: your receiving dealer, shipping carriers, our payment processor, Google (which hosts our dealer lookup), GunBroker for sales made there (GunBroker's privacy policy applies to those), and government agencies when the law requires it. We never sell or rent your information.

Payments

We don't take payments on this website. Payments go through GunBroker or our payment processor.

Cookies

This site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies, and it doesn't run analytics or ads. When you confirm your age, your browser remembers that for 30 days so we don't ask on every page. Links to GunBroker and ATF take you to their sites, which have their own privacy policies.

How long we keep it

As long as we need it to answer you or complete your order. Records the law requires us to keep are kept for as long as the law requires.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no method of sending or storing data is completely secure.

Children

Our site and our sales are for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Your choices

Email info@bsifirearms.com to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, except records the law requires us to keep.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date.
